Governance
The People's Ecclesia
Order Of Authority
The People's Ecclesia recognizes the following order of authority within the Ecclesia and her stewardship structure:
- I. His Majesty — Jesus of the Christ — Head of the Ecclesia and eternal High Priest according to the Order of Melchizedek.
- II. Holy Scripture & Doctrine — The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments serve as the governing doctrinal authority. All doctrine, interpretation, stewardship, and institutional conduct shall remain subordinate to Holy Scripture.
- III. The Foundational Charter — The constitutional instrument establishing the doctrine, governance structure, stewardship framework, offices, and operational continuity of The People's Ecclesia.
- IV. The Presiding Steward — The servant-steward entrusted with overseeing the Ecclesia in accordance with Holy Scripture, the Foundational Charter, and the recognized Order of Authority.
- V. The Council Of The Order — The governing body responsible for doctrine, interpretation, institutional continuity, stewardship oversight, and ecclesial governance.
Ecclesial Governance Structure
The Council Of The Order may establish stewardship offices, ecclesial chapters, registrars, and administrative functions necessary for the orderly operation and continuity of the Ecclesia.
Constitutional Distinction: Ecclesial Chapters and Covenant Houses are parallel ecclesial branches under the Council Of The Order — not subordinate administrative departments. The Administration Office, Records Office, and Stewardship Offices are service offices that administer the operational functions of the Ecclesia.
Ecclesial Chapters
The People's Ecclesia may recognize and establish Ecclesial Chapters within nations, territories, provinces, states, or local jurisdictions for the administration of covenant life, fellowship, ministry, stewardship, assemblies, and institutional continuity.
Chapters may conduct assemblies, administer ecclesial acts, receive covenant members, maintain local stewardship activities, and assist in the preservation of ecclesial continuity within their recognized jurisdiction.
Covenant Members may petition the Council Of The Order for approval of an Ecclesial Chapter through their Member Dashboard.
Covenant Houses
Members in good standing within The People's Ecclesia may establish Covenant Houses under a recognized Ecclesial Chapter. Covenant Houses represent covenant stewardship domains, households, ministries, family stewardships, fellowship bodies, missions, or aligned ecclesial estates.
Covenant Members may petition their Ecclesial Chapter to have their House added to the Chapter through their Member Dashboard.
Stewardship Offices
Stewardship Offices exist to administer the operational, administrative, registry, archival, and continuity functions of the Ecclesia. They operate under the authority of the Council Of The Order and exist solely in service to the Ecclesia and her covenant members.
Registrars
Registrars are appointed stewardship officers entrusted with maintaining ecclesial records, registry continuity, evidentiary preservation, and institutional archival integrity on behalf of The People's Ecclesia.
Ecclesial Continuity
All ecclesial acts, recognitions, stewardship acknowledgements, covenant instruments, chapter recognitions, covenant house recognitions, and registrar actions administered within The People's Ecclesia shall form part of the unified ecclesial continuity and canonical record of the Ecclesia.
